My first Chipotle burrito was in college. I had no idea what to get so I got what my friend got. A chicken burrito with black beans, white rice, hot salsa, cheese and lettuce. It was good but I’ve fine-tuned my perfect burrito over the years (and now it’s not even a burrito! It’s a burrito bowl!).
The best additions to my perfect Chipotle burrito was fajita and their new brown rice! I also put chicken, pico, corn salsa, cheese, sour cream, guacamole and lettuce in my burrito bowl! If I eat at Chipotle I put the green jalapeno Tabasco sauce on it for a kick!
LOVE this post and so glad I already ate otherwise I’d be drooling! Here’s mine… sometimes it’s in burrito form, other times I go with the bowl: Veggie with pinto beans (they always ask if I’m sure since they’re cooked in bacon but I just prefer mine without the meat toppings), pico, corn, sour cream, cheese and guac on the side. This is my little trick because then I also sometimes get chips (love their chips) to go with he guac since I usually don’t use the whole side cup when I spread it on with a knife myself.
Yum 🙂
Hmmm. i think I’m pretty basic. Rice, sour cream, cheese, meat, corn salsa and hot salsa. BUT… once I won a burrito party and won 20 burritos. Something to note – they freeze really well! We cut them in half and had 40 half burritos. It was the best thing to throw in a lunch bag for my husband. So I guess my favorite burrito… is the free burrito. lol
Free burritos sound great!
